These were really, really good! Rich, but not too rich and a fun change from the typical brownie. I will say they weren't quite as chewy as I expected. I also next time would use more toffee pieces, but that's just my personal preference. I got this recipe from a food blog, Montcarte.
Chewy Toffee-Marshmallow Brownies
9″ square cake pan, greased
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
BROWNIE
1/2 cup butter
3 squares 1 oz each unsweetened chocolate
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
TOPPING
1 cup mini marshmallows
2/3 cup toffee bits
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat in a medium saucepan, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
Add sugar and vanilla and beat well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating lightly after each addition.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to chocolate mixture, stirring until well-blended. Spread in prepared pan.
Top with marshmallows and toffee bits.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees F, or until set. Cool completely in pan.

Happy you liked them! They sure are a decadent treat.
