Another Great Chicken Marinade

I took a recipe from RecipeZaar and made a few minor changes and this is the marinade I came up with. I marinated the chicken in this for about 6 hours. It was delicious!! Made the chicken moist and very flavorful - slightly sweet, but also tangy at the same time. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Chicken Marinade

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
3 tbsp whole grain mustard
3 large garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 lemon, juiced
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp oil
black pepper

In a gallon size ziploc bag whisk together ingredients beginning with vinegar through salt.

Then whisk in olive oil and pepper.

Place chicken in the mixture.

Marinate chicken in the fridge 6 hours or overnight.

Remove chicken from marinade just before you turn on your grill or broiler to let come up a few degrees.

Discard marinade.
